- A Retail Bank in Hong Kong with regional business coverage is seeking a seasoned Head of Investment Strategy with a bigger focus in Fixed Income.
What you'll need to succeed
- This leadership position is responsible for developing and refining the bank's investment house view and overall market strategy.
- Beyond providing house view strategies, the role also involves public engagement, serving as a spokesperson to share the bank's viewpoint on investment markets with media and industry audiences. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for success in this role.
- Shaping the bank's investment house view, and supporting the frontline with investment sales related materials.
- Lead and mentor a small team, fostering a strong investment advisory culture.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create investment sales materials for frontline staff.
- Represent the bank in media engagements, providing expert insights on investment markets.
- Deliver presentations and thought leadership on key investment trends.
What you'll get in return
- Holder of bachelor degree in a related area.
- 15+ yeas of proven experience in investment strategy within a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong fixed income and macro market knowledge is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a small team.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in spoken and written Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
- Deep understanding of global and regional investment markets.
- Experience acting as a spokesperson for investment insights is highly desirable.
- Holder of HKSI Papers 1, 7, and 8.
