People Development Associate

The People Development Team sits within the Wealth Management APAC Transformation Team dedicated to People Development. This team works in close partnership with senior business stakeholders (Asia CEO, Market and Function Heads) and HR partners to help design, develop and execute Culture enhancement, Leadership Development and Employee Engagement initiatives that help drive Wealth Management.

Salary: HK$50k - HK$60k

Key Responsibilities

It is expected that the incumbent will develop a broad-based knowledge of Private Banking activities and develop an understanding of how People and Culture interventions contribute to a successful business. This is a great hands-on opportunity to gain experience in stakeholder engagement, conducting organizational diagnostics, designing learning, behaviour and culture change interventions, and having end to end ownership of projects.

 

  • Work closely with senior Wealth Management stakeholders, cross functional partners such as L&D, HR and external partners to help design, develop and deliver People, Culture and Engagement initiatives that help realize the strategic plan for WM APAC.
  • Identify opportunity areas and white spaces by analysing & synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Develop, design and facilitate interventions that help drive a positive workplace culture in WM APAC
  • Lead interactions with external partners
  • Lead and execute projects and programmes end to end and measure their effectiveness and impact.
  • Able to bring outside in - research best practices in Talent development, Culture and Organization behaviour and Learning and Leadership development.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
  • Work in a collaborative, learning oriented team.

 

Requirements/ Qualifications:

  • Experience in banking and project management.
  • Competent in use of Microsoft Office tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience or Proven interest in Organizational or Behavioral psychology, Change management, Marketing, Brand and Communications, People development and/or social impact work.
  • Applicable fields of study could include but are not limited to Psychology, Statistics, Literature, Marketing and Communications, History
  • Strong business acumen, client and results focused individual.
  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with business and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Takes initiative to volunteer and consult with others to drive work to completion.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to drive multiple projects and initiatives
  • Able to conduct research, analyze qualitative and quantitative data and translate to insights.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills o A self-directed, curious learner.
