Developer - C# / SQL / Middle Office / Banking
My banking client is searching for a Developer with strong C# skills to join the team in HK.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
Develop, test, and implement in-house systems, including unit, functional, and integration testing based on provided functional requirements.
Create and maintain development documentation, test plans, and test result reports.
Analyze, develop, test, and deploy systems to ensure seamless implementation.
Collaborate with first-level support teams to provide second-line support and work with internal IT teams (e.g., DBA, Infrastructure) to resolve technical issues, reporting findings to managers or team leads.
Conduct feasibility studies and impact analyses to propose clear system solutions for business consideration.
Serve as a deputy contact for Excel tools supporting equity middle/back-office operations.
Provide second-line support for the Instrument Data System.
Design middle-office applications and interfaces for back-office systems.
Maintain, enhance, and support the existing OMS front-office application.
Collaborate with IT staff in regional offices.
Proficient in C#, .NET, Excel VBA, SQL, and SSIS, with hands-on experience.
Familiarity with Shell, Python, Java, ASP, Linux, Omgeo CTM, ULBridge, and Fidessa is a plus.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Basic knowledge of equity trading and middle/back-office operations.
