SVP, Loan Syndications
Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to lead our Loan Syndication team. The Head of Loan Syndication will be responsible for managing and expanding our syndicated loan portfolio, ensuring the successful execution of syndication transactions, and fostering strong relationships with clients and syndicate partners.
Your New Role: - Lead and manage the Loan Syndication team, providing strategic direction and ensuring the achievement of business objectives.
- Develop and implement syndication strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and syndicate partners to ensure successful syndication deals.
- Oversee the structuring, negotiation, and execution of syndicated loan transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for syndication and stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
- Monitor and manage risks associated with syndicated loans, ensuring robust risk mitigation strategies are in place.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting and documentation of syndication activities and transactions.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field from top tier universities; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the loan syndicated market, with a proven track record of successful syndication transactions of Greater China market, with previous team leadership experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of syndicated loan structures, market practices, and regulatory requirements.
