Job Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for full range of company secretarial duties to designated entity and its Board of Directors, including but not limited to organizing board meetings, preparing board minutes/resolutions/annual & interim reports/announcements/circulars, advising internal/external parties regarding company secretarial and statutory compliance matters.
  • Manage financial accounting tasks including month-end closing, financial statements preparation, general ledger control and maintenance, etc.
  • Manage the accurate and timely submission of head office reporting and regulatory reports
  • Handle the HKMA banking returns
  • Prepare information to the senior management, various committee and Board
  • Supports decision making, provides financial projections based on trends, and leads and executes the development of business strategies in partnership with different stakeholders
  • Keep abreast of change of accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors
Job Requirements
  • Degree holder and above in accounting, finance or related area
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in financial, regulatory reporting in banking industry, with solid experience in company secretarial field
  • Demonstrates industry knowledge and leverages regulatory and business experience and technical expertise to challenge the norm
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and ability to interact with team members at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources in some cases
  • Prioritizes issues management, analyses, and team capacity
  • Efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • Strong analytical, organizational and presentation skills
  • Possess on qualification in HKICS / ICSA / other related qualifications preferred
