The Investment Director will lead the origination, execution, and management of real estate private equity investments. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving portfolio performance, identifying strategic opportunities, and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders to enhance long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Formulate and implement investment strategies aligned with the firms objectives across core, value-add, and opportunistic real estate assets.
- Deal Origination & Execution: Source, evaluate, and execute real estate transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and recapitalizations.
- Due Diligence & Underwriting: Oversee comprehensive financial modeling, market analysis, and risk assessment to support investment decisions.
- Portfolio Oversight: Monitor asset performance, guide asset management teams, and develop value enhancement initiatives.
- Capital Markets Engagement: Interface with institutional investors, lenders, and capital partners to support fundraising and financing activities.
- Governance & Reporting: Present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Team Development: Mentor junior professionals and foster a high-performance culture within the investment team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, or institutional real estate investment.
- Demonstrated track record of leading complex real estate transactions and delivering superior returns.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and capital structuring.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
