The System Administrator will oversee the technical operations of the MetaTrader 4 and 5 platforms. Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain MT5 servers, operating systems, trading applications, plug-ins, and system components.
  • Manage system upgrades, document processes, and provide technical support for our clients and internal departments
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Provide technical support for traders and staff, troubleshooting issues related to the trading platforms.
  • Configure and optimize trading systems to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Implement software updates and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities.
  • Monitor system vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.

 

  • Qualifications:
  • University degree in information technology or a related field or equivalent in training and experience
  • 5 years of experience a System Administrator, preferably in financial services or trading environments.
  • Hands-on experience with MT4/MT5 trading platforms or other trading platforms
  • Experience creating a reliable and redundant MT5 platform by leveraging backup trade servers and system backups
  • An understanding of log aggregation, metric monitoring, and alerting for MT5
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with database management and scripting languages.
  • Understanding of commodity derivatives and trading concepts.
