Job Description:
- Lead monthly IFRS 17 financial reporting and analysis, execute closing activities (including review of closing journals, data reconciliations), ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the Actuarial Department for financial result reviews and analytical support.
- Manage Group financial reporting and submissions to regulators (including Insurance Authority (IA), Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA)). Monitor regulatory updates to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Prepare annual/quarterly financial statements; liaise with external auditors.
- Mentor junior staff on reporting and insurance systems (e.g., Policy Admin System).
- Streamline end-to-end financial processes and drive system enhancements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance/Accounting.
- HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification.
- 8+ years in insurance finance, with end-to-end process expertise (underwriting, claims, reserves).
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS 17/HKFRS 17 implementation.
- Proficiency in insurance systems (e.g., Policy Admin System).
- Advanced MS Excel (formulas/VBA/modeling) and MS Office.
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (written and spoken).
