Regulatory Lead, Fintech, RWA Licensing

Our client is a top-tier securities firm with a strong focus on fintech innovation and retail trading. The firm operates a popular retail trading app and is expanding into tokenized Real-World Assets (RWA). To support this growth, we are seeking an experienced Responsible Officer (RO) or Regulatory Lead to drive licensing applications (e.g., SFC, VARA, MAS) and ensure compliance for RWA trading and fintech operations.

  • Licensing & Regulatory Strategy
  • Lead the application process for necessary licenses (e.g., SFC Type 1 & 7, VARA VASP, MAS PSA).
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulators (SFC, HKMA, VARA, MAS, etc.) for approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with securities, virtual asset, and fintech regulations in target markets.
  • RWA & Fintech Compliance
  • Develop policies for tokenized RWA trading (e.g., bonds, real estate, commodities).
  • Oversee AML/CFT, KYC, investor protection, and market conduct for retail trading.
  • Work with tech teams to ensure trading app compliance with local regulations
