Officer - MPF/ORSO Fund Accounting (HKD30k - 35k per month)

Responsibilities

• Assist in coaching juniors in the daily handling of investment order placements, money flows, transaction flows, data file exchanges and due reporting at the required timelines
  
  
• Be responsible for the daily reconciliation of cash, payments and fund units to ensure relevant records and entries are properly updated to the systems; deal with any discrepancies identified in the reconciliation process for problem shooting, problem solving or due escalation
  
  
• Compile reports to meet the service standards and regulatory requirements
  
  
• Coach juniors in performing portfolio valuation, Net Asset Value (NAV) price computation and other fund administration works to maintain service quality
  
  
• Support annual exercises regarding financial accounts or internal control audits on funds and scheme
  
  
• Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders and third-party servicing agents of clients to ensure seamless servicing
  
  
• Deal with issues and queries from clients in a professional and timely manner
  
  
• Follow and perform controls as required to ensure compliance in all relevant work processes and escalate to seniors for any issues identified

Requirements

• Degree holder in accountancy or Diploma in Business related discipline; Bachelor's degree holder in accounting or business-related discipline

• Candidates with academic background below degree level must demonstrate strong and relevant experience in fund administration industry
  
  
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting and administration, with substantial exposure to regulated mutual funds, Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) or Occupational Retirement Schemes Ordinance (ORSO) scheme operations
  
  
• Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Word and Excel
  
  
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
