Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for data migration projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
• Oversee the assessment and analysis of existing data structures to identify migration needs and challenges.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and IT staff, to ensure successful project execution.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process by implementing testing protocols.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, meeting notes, and lessons learned.
• Analyze project outcomes and processes to recommend improvements for future migrations.
Requirement:
• Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, with a strong focus on data migration and complex data platform projects.
• Proficiency in data migration tools, ETL processes, and database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing diverse teams and driving project success.
