We're partnering with a leading financial institution that's looking to bring on an experienced Unix Engineering Lead to drive their regional infrastructure function. This role sits within a high-performing team responsible for Unix, Storage, Database, and Middleware operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and enhance Unix/Linux environments (Red Hat focus)
- Automate systems using Ansible Tower
- Administer lifecycle and provisioning with Red Hat Satellite
- Oversee authentication via Red Hat Identity Management (IdM)
- Lead patching, upgrades, and EOL planning
- Work closely with cross-regional teams on operational excellence
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat-based systems
- Strong in automation, patching, and troubleshooting
- Exposure to Ansible Tower, Satellite, IdM
- Excellent communicator who thrives in collaborative environments
- RHCE/RHCA or ITIL certified.
