My client is a fundamentally-driven, non-consensus hedge fund headquartered in Hong Kong, with a strong track record and ambitious growth plans.
Your new role
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research and financial analysis in specific sectors and regions, preferably in technology/consumer/industrial areas.
- Develop high-conviction and non-consensus investment ideas through bottom-up research.
- Maintain close communication with company management teams and industry experts.
- Produce well-structured investment theses and models to support portfolio decisions.
- Monitor macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and sector developments impacting investments.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years of buy-side equity research experience, with a strong track record in long/short.
- Deep sector knowledge in China Generalist / China Internet / China Consumer / Global Consumer / Global TMT / Japan Equity.
- Proven ability to generate actionable investment ideas and experience in short selling or understanding short selling.
- Strong communication skills; fluent in English.
- Self-starter with high integrity and a collaborative mindset.
