Analyst, Legal Counsel - Insurance (fresh grad is welcome, budget 28k)

My client, a leading insurance firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to join their legal team. The successful candidate will assist in providing legal support to the company, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while contributing to the overall legal strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, policies, and legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research on various issues related to insurance law and regulations.
  • Support the legal team in handling claims, disputes, and regulatory matters.
  • Provide legal advice to internal departments on compliance and risk management.
  • Participate in training sessions to educate staff on legal and compliance issues.
  • Maintain and organize legal documents and records.
  • Assist with the preparation of legal reports and presentations.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent.
  • Admission to the bar (or in the process of obtaining).
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a legal role, preferably within the insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding of insurance law and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
