AVP/VP , Internal Audit - MNC Investment Bank

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk-based internal audit assignments across Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) businesses in Asia Pacific.
• Assess the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with group policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Prepare clear, well-structured audit reports with practical, value-adding recommendations.
• Support annual audit planning by assessing risks and contributing to the prioritization of audit topics.
• Liaise with business line management and other stakeholders to communicate audit findings and monitor the implementation of remediation plans.
• Participate in global or regional audit missions as needed, including cross-border assignments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal audit methodology and practices within the APAC team.

Candidate Profile:

• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience, with prior experience in internal audit essential.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) environment (e.g., coverage, financing, markets).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage with senior stakeholders confidently.
• Very good command of spoken and written English; other Asian languages are an advantage but not required.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA, CFA) are preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in multi-cultural environments and working with geographically dispersed teams is an advantage.
