C# Developer – Systematic Hedge Fund – Hong Kong

A leading quantitative hedge fund is looking to hire a C# Developer to join their Hong Kong team. This is a highly technical role focused on developing real-time, low-latency applications that support trading and operations across the firm. The successful candidate will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, working closely with traders, middle office, and support teams. This is a hands-on position with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and user enablement.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build low-latency, real-time applications across multiple workflows
  • Develop systems supporting trade entry, position management, order monitoring, execution platforms, and PnL/risk summaries
  • Interact with end users across trading, middle office, and technology teams to gather requirements and provide support
  • Deliver scalable, flexible solutions and contribute to training and onboarding of users

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional development experience
  • Strong server-side C# development skills, with experience in low-latency, multi-threaded systems
  • Experience with real-time messaging, data aggregation/pivoting, and web front-end technologies
  • Familiarity with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, SignalR/WebSockets, and charting tools such as HighCharts or AG Grid; exposure to Electron or C++ is a plus
