About the Role
Lead complex, high-impact IT projects from conception to delivery, with a strong focus on application development and infrastructure modernization. Youll orchestrate strategic initiatives—including core system revamps (e.g., lending platforms)—while collaborating with technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable solutions. Reporting to senior leadership, this role demands hands-on ownership in a fast-paced environment.
What Youll Do
- Own end-to-end project delivery for application and infrastructure initiatives: scope, timeline, budget, and stakeholder alignment
- Lead large-scale modernization projects (e.g., financial platform upgrades, system migrations)
- Bridge execution gaps between Development, Infrastructure, and business units
- Enforce IT security/compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001) throughout project lifecycles
- Deliver executive-level progress reports and secure stage approvals
- Proactively mitigate risks, track performance metrics, and optimize processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 5+ years managing full lifecycle IT projects (software development + infrastructure)
- Experience leading large-scale application delivery projects
- Fluency in security frameworks (NIST, ISO27001) and technical best practices
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Cantonese
Preferred Advantages
- PMP certification
- Experience in Banking/Financial Services
- Background in lending platforms, loan management systems, or core banking revamps
- Proven success delivering projects exceeding 12-month cycles or $1M+ budgets
- Exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered for an Assistant Project Manager role.
