Core Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Licensing
- Ensure all contracting and licensing activities for insurance advisors comply with regulations from authorities like the Hong Kong Insurance Authority (HKIA) and the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA).
- Lead a team that manages these compliance processes and keeps them up to date.
Digital Transformation
- Design and implement digital tools that improve the experience for insurance advisors.
- These tools also help meet regulatory requirements and make internal operations more efficient.
- Oversee the entire system lifecycle: design, testing (UAT), rollout, and training.
Process Optimization
- Analyze current workflows and identify ways to streamline operations.
- Implement strategic changes to improve efficiency across the organization.
CPD Reporting Expertise
- Act as the go-to expert for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to HKIA and MPFA.
Project Management
- Handle ad hoc projects and special tasks, often with tight deadlines.
- These could range from regulatory updates to internal process improvements.
Requirements
University graduate in business or related curriculum
Minimum of 10 years' experience in agency operation / recruitment and licensing with in-depth knowledge on agency operations, contracting, and onboarding process. Insurance based qualifications such as FLMI, CFP would be a plus
Strong experience in applying insurance license to advisors; With solid people management experience
Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese
