Top tier group is looking for a Manager, Account Closure

Your new role
  • Handle account search, document retrieval, and fund transfer requests from government bodies, law enforcement agencies, courts, solicitors, administrators, survivors, internal parties, business clients, and trustees.
  • Prepare Audit Confirmation reports or Certificates of Balance for business clients.
  • Manage requests for statements or documents from both internal and external sources, including CASA/Credit Card statements, Account Opening Forms, and transaction details.
  • Set up accounts for Capital Investment Entrant Scheme (CIES) customers, monitor account activities, and report to the HK Immigration Department.
  • Perform data record management for the teams.
  • Prepare transaction instructions for review and authorization by checkers and approvers.
  • Client Communication: Draft letters to clients for review and sign-off by checkers or stakeholders.
  • Assist the management team with UVT/UAT for system upgrades or changes, providing user feedback.
  • Support the management team in migrating tasks to GBS hub centers, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders for exceptional handling or new requests.


What you'll need to succeed
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in banking operations, account management, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data management and record-keeping.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of banking software and systems.
