We're seeking a Web UI Developer to join our Equity Swaps team as a strong individual contributor, working in a global team towards a new web-based UI strategy. We will be working on two major initiatives; one is a widely used React-based data visualization tool for the fast creation of dashboards, the other is a green-field initiative to develop a broad-based strategy for our 10 existing C# applications into a future web UI platform. Both initiatives are closely tied to front-office tech, with highly motivated and helpful users. You will be joining a global development team, with a variety of technical expertise, and huge amount of system knowledge.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the function through complex project tasks and initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with technology peers globally and ensure delivery up to the highest standards
  • Bring ideas that might accelerate our way to adding value for the business in targeted ways
  • Operate as a web UI SME to help and guide developers in multiple tech areas within our broader team, particularly in Montreal
  • Communicate directly with the business to capture requirements and translate into UI design
  • Able to develop and UI feature as per user requirement on assigned project, able to capture user feedback
Key Skills Required:
  • At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
  • Strong React skills is a must, with additional knowledge in areas such as C#, SQL, Python, Java, KDB, Angular are desirable.
  • Ability to process information, translate into plans and present summaries to stakeholders.
  • Experienced understanding of business line and discipline.
  • A desire to build easily testable and robust solutions
