Responsibilities - Responsible for the planning, leadership, innovative problem resolution, analysis, review and reporting of the team.
- Responsible for the development of new methods and procedures to make alert and due diligence review processing more efficient; implement recommendations for department policy changes and efficiencies.
- Understand and update any changes on the internal procedures and processes.
- Coach, and trains KYC AML staffs and RMs to develops a sound understand of KYC requirements, workflow and ensure the highest level of critical thinking, analysis, documentation and operational efficiency.
- Support AML champion for PB to resolve issues arise from on-onboarding/periodic review and for CDD documentation between KYC reviewer team, FCSS, Front office and operations teams.
- Conduct data analysis, prepare presentation deck, and MIS reports
- Understand, and update any changes on the internal policies, operating manuals/checklist and make necessary communication to front office
- Participate in any system enhancement UAT, and projects assigned
- Effect change for continuous improvement in the team's output in terms of quality and efficiency
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement to deliver exceptional client & employee experiences
- Ad-hoc tasks as assigned; Drive continuous improvement of the employee engagement strategy
Requirements - Min 5 years or above business management/project management experience.
- Good understanding in private banking services and operations
- Good knowledge on legal and regulatory requirements of AML and compliance principles and corporate governance practices
- Experience in handling process and system changes will be an advantage
- Attentive to details, compliance, and control oriented, diligent and proactive
- Self-motivated, independent with good communication skills
- Proven ability and strong interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional teams
- Ability to work well with teams & stakeholders and manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Strong business acumen and strategic mindset to align initiatives with broader organizational goals
- Strong presentation and report writing skills with a good command of verbal and written English
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
