Our client, a major Chinese financial institution, is strengthening its investment team through the recruitment of a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager responsible for discretionary accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively developing and managing relationships with onshore institutional investors and high-net-worth (HNW) clients to identify and capitalize on aligned investment opportunities.
  • Leading and executing comprehensive marketing roadshows independently, effectively presenting investment strategies and tailoring solutions to meet specific client investment objectives.
  • Managing discretionary fixed income mandates, including strategy implementation, portfolio construction, risk management, and performance monitoring to achieve client goals.
  • Overseeing and delivering assigned ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Must be a qualified Responsible Officer (RO) in compliance with SFC regulations and hold SFC licenses 4 and 9. 
  • Native/Nearly Native Mandarin speaker with solid experience in dealing with onshore clients.
  • Minimum 5-year solid experience in the industry.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
