At DBS, The Equity Capital Markets Group provides equity funding solutions to our corporate clients in the region and acts as an intermediary between issuers and our investing clients. We advise and sponsor our clients in their equity fund-raising exercises in connection with their listing ambitions on regional stock exchanges. We help our clients to raise equity funds through primary offering and/or secondary offering of shares and REITs, as well as pre-IPO platform.
Responsibilities - Participate in due diligence processes, document review, and financial/statistical analysis related to transactions
- Collaborate with team members and coordinate with external professional parties to facilitate the smooth execution of transactions
- Prepare high-quality presentations and pitchbooks for clients, showcasing our services and transaction insights
- Establish and maintain effective operational linkages with client management and working teams as well as professional parties
- Assist in originating and executing mandates under the guidance of senior team members
Requirements - A university degree with at least 1-3 years of investment banking experience, or a comparable combination of education and relevant industry experience
- Strong financial analytical skills, including proficiency in modeling and valuation techniques
- Familiarity with Listing Rules, Takeovers Code, and other related regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, responsible, a good team player, and willing to travel occasionally
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is essential
