Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Team Lead in overseeing daily operations and performing checks on various trade-related transactions, including import/export trade, account receivable financing, factoring, and handling non-trade bonds, guarantees, and standby L/Cs.
  • Address customer queries related to trade finance and import/export bills.
  • Provide assistance to Relationship Managers regarding trade services.
  • Manage customer service functions to deliver efficient and high-quality support for corporate and institutional clients.
  • Perform document checks for import/export transactions presented under L/Cs in accordance with UCP and international standard practices.
  • Ensure all transactions meet service standards and comply with internal policies, external regulations, and guidelines.
  • Assist in the review of policies and guidelines, and contribute to ad hoc tasks, projects, and cross-team support as required by Banking Operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related fields, with 8+ years of experience in trade services operations.
  • Strong knowledge of trade finance instruments, international trade regulations, and banking practices (ICC UCP, URC, ISBP, ISP, URDG rules).
  • Experience handling complex and structured trade-related transactions is an advantage.
  • CDCS certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AML/sanction screening and pre-assessment checks for transactions is highly desirable.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently under pressure in a multitasking environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in operational risk frameworks with the ability to identify irregularities.
  • Experience with trade finance systems and project enhancements.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
