Overview:
We are assisting a prominent corporate bank in their search for a Relationship Officer to support their Corporate Banking operations. This 12-month contract role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced banking professional to contribute to customer-focused operations and enhance service delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Relationship support to Corporate Banking Relationship Managers to achieve business target
- Carry out customer transactions related activities including handle customer enquiries, manage loan, deposit, FX, customer onboarding, change of bank registration, KYC duties, etc.
- Liaise with relevant departments to process customer transactions in a timely manner
- Assist Relationship Managers ("RMs") to explore and maintain good customer relationship & collect various information to support RMs to solicit new business opportunities
- Process customer transactions in accordance with internal & regulatory requirements
- Address customer inquiries related to loans, deposits, foreign exchange, and account management to ensure a seamless experience.
- Collaborate with various departments to expedite transaction processing and maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist Relationship Managers in nurturing client relationships by gathering insights and supporting initiatives to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for customer onboarding and KYC processes, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in the banking sector, with a focus on corporate banking preferred.
- Understanding of corporate banking products and services.
- Strong customer-centric approach, with the ability to assess and respond to client needs effectively.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese; Japanese language skills are an advantage.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications and banking software systems.
