Investment Compliance Intern

A leading local asset management firm with a focus in SFC-authorised funds is looking to hire a Compliance Intern focusing on investment compliance. The primary responsibility is to assist the Investment Compliance Manager in developing automated monitoring programs related to compliance monitoring.

Job responsibilities:

  1. To assist in developing automated monitoring programs (mainly Microsoft Excel based) related to compliance monitoring and evaluate the settings of existing monitoring systems.
  2. To provide practical solutions in the testing and optimizing the automation of existing Microsoft Excel based monitoring programs.

Requirements:

  1. Undergraduate or postgraduate student, majoring in Business Administration, Finance, Quantitative Finance, Business Analytics or Computer Science
  2. Strong knowledge on Excel and VBA programming is a must
  3. Finance knowledge is an added advantage
  4. Processing good communication skills and ability to communicate programming logic in plain language
  5. A good team player, responsible and detail minded

Tenor of the Internship: 6 months (negotiable)
