Key Responsibilities: - Act as the SME for the General Insurance Core System, providing expertise on system functionalities, workflows, and integration points.
- Lead business analysis activities, including requirement gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design for core system replacement and modernization projects.
- Define and document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and data migration strategies for large-scale system transformations.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business users, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery, and adherence to business needs.
- Conduct impact analysis, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to support decision-making on system enhancements and process improvements.
- Ensure seamless data migration by defining mapping rules, validation processes, and reconciliation mechanisms.
- Provide user training, support UAT, and troubleshoot issues during system implementation.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree holder
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry, with a strong focus on General Insurance (GI) products and operations.
- Proven track record in end-to-end system change delivery, including large-scale core system modernization, migration, and implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience with modernized core insurance platforms and data migration tools/techniques.
- Strong ability to lead business analysis independently, from requirement elicitation to solution validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding communication skills (English, Cantonese, Mandarin), with the ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and a fast learner, capable of thriving in a dynamic project environment.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or General Insurance (ANZIIF, ACII).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies and using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or SQL.
