Our client is a well-known organization that has a record of worldwide success, and they are now further expanding their coverage globally. To maximize capacity and identify growth opportunities for the future, they are now seeking for a Principal System Architect to strengthen their team.
About the Role
Reporting to the department head and managing a team, you will be working with senior leaders of the business and responsible for the application development of corporate projects from inception to completion. You will craft end-state architectures, transition strategies, and roadmaps at both project and portfolio levels, ensuring they align with strategic objectives, requirements, and industry developments. Working collaboratively with delivery and engineering teams, you will convert these architectures into detailed designs to facilitate successful project execution. At times, you will utilize your expertise and thorough knowledge of technological and industry trends to offer strategic insights through assurance reports or proposals. Furthermore, you will establish and guide the technical direction, encourage the adoption of innovative technologies, and develop entirely new solutions from inception.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in sizeable organization and in retail industry
- Back office ERP solution experience and vendor management
- A proven track record in delivering enterprise-wide technology change and transformation.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Agile delivering and transformation
- In-depth experience in devising, costing and delivering solutions that meet internal business and customer needs
- Experience of developing and implementing architecture within a fast-paced organisation to meet complex programmes with multiple stakeholders
- Strong influencing, communication and negotiation skills coupled with acute commercial awareness
- Development of enterprise architects with recognized and credible industry/technology knowledge
- Good command in English and Chinese
