Network Infrastructure Architect – Low-Latency Systems

We’re looking for a skilled network architect to build and manage ultra-fast networks used in time-critical environments like finance or telecom. You'll design systems that move data at lightning speed, plan RF sites, and work with tech teams to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-speed network systems optimized for latency-sensitive environments
  • Lead RF network planning, including frequency coordination, site engineering, and signal propagation analysis
  • Administer and troubleshoot complex routing and switching environments using advanced configuration methodologies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineers, infrastructure specialists, and systems architects to ensure optimal network performance
  • Conduct in-depth network performance audits, latency benchmarking, and root-cause diagnostics at the packet level
  • Optimize physical and logical network paths, RF configurations, and hardware deployments to maximize throughput and reliability
  • Develop network automation solutions for provisioning, monitoring, and incident response workflows
  • Ensure compliance with international telecommunications standards, spectrum allocation guidelines, and licensing obligations

 Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years professional experience in low-latency networking, microwave systems, or high-frequency trading environments
  • Proficient in RF engineering fundamentals including link budgeting, antenna selection, and signal optimization techniques
  • Extensive knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/ UDP, BGP, OSPF, IGMP, and Precision Time Protocol (PTP)
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining network hardware platforms including Arista, Cisco, and Juniper systems
  • Skilled in network performance evaluation using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and custom latency instrumentation
  • Solid command of Linux-based networking environments, shell scripting, and infrastructure-as-code practices (Python, Bash, Ansible)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based networking architectures, particularly AWS and GCP environments
  • Proven expertise in Microwave Network Connectivity, with documented deployment and operational success

 Preferred Attributes

  • Hands-on deployment of dark fiber solutions and advanced optical networking technologies
  • Prior work in ultra-low latency environments including financial exchanges, telecom infrastructure, or defense applications
  • Proficiency in time synchronization systems utilizing GPS, IEEE 1588 PTP, or disciplined oscillators
  • Experience implementing robust network security frameworks, redundancy mechanisms, and fault-tolerant designs
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities in mission-critical, time-sensitive production networks.
