The hiring company is launching a new USD-denominated venture capital fund with anchor capital secured, targeting high-growth technology investments across APAC, Middle East, Europe, and North America. The fund seeks an entrepreneurial MD to build the investment platform, lead global fundraising, and drive the full investment lifecycle from Hong Kong.

Core Responsibilities

    1. Lead end-to-end capital formation targeting institutional LPs, family offices, and HNWIs across APAC (with emphasis on Hong Kong), Middle East, Europe, and North America
    2. Develop LP engagement strategies for diverse cross-border investor profiles
  1. Source, execute, and manage early-stage deals in tech sectors
  2. Oversee portfolio value creation across APAC, Middle East, Europe, and North America
  3. Design fund structure, team build-out, and investment thesis aligned with a $50M–$100M strategy

Required Expertise

  1. Proven Fundraising Track Record: Successfully raised USD capital from offshore LPs across APAC, Middle East, Europe, or North America (institutions/FOs/HNWIs)
  2. 10+ years in VC/PE with focus on early-stage deep-tech or high-growth tech
  3. Demonstrated deal flow and execution in APAC, Middle East, Europe, or North America
  4. Full-cycle fund management (legal, compliance, LP reporting)
  5. Background flexibility: Former investment banker transitioning to VC/PE, OR seasoned tech investor
  6. Language: Native or fluent English proficiency; Mandarin/Cantonese fluency advantageous
  7. Cultural Fit: Exceptional cross-border negotiation/presentation skills
