The Team
Join a dedicated FX sales technology team based in Hong Kong, responsible for supporting and improving the FX trading sales platform across Asia. This team plays a crucial role in driving revenue while contributing to the company's digital transformation initiatives.
The Role
We are looking for an Agile Full-Stack Developer who will design and implement modern, modular solutions with a strong emphasis on supportability, scalability, and sustainability. The successful candidate will engage closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage release processes, and ensure platform stability.
The Requirements
Functional Experience:

- Strong knowledge of financial markets, particularly FX business and associated products.
- Understanding of FX voice and electronic sales workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create detailed documentation.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in English.
Technical Experience:
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot for microservice REST APIs.
- Skilled in JavaScript for Angular.js micro frontend design.
- Expertise in SQL with a focus on Postgres storage solutions.
- Proven experience in developing and enhancing complex Front-Office IT systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies.
Product Experience:
- Basic knowledge of FX instruments such as Spot, Forward, and Swap.
- Familiarity with popular FX trades and structures.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Extensive IT development experience within the financial industry.
- Approved Person Registration.
Competencies:
- Self-motivated and autonomous.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
