About the Role As the VP Institutional Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving cross-border institutional business development and client engagement across key segments including sovereign wealth funds, insurers, and financial institutions. You will work closely with senior leadership and global investment teams to deliver the firm's full value proposition and support the execution of China growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute sales plans and manage existing institutional relationships
- Represent investment capabilities at client meetings and industry events
- Collaborate with global investment and client servicing teams
- Support RFPs, pitches, and due diligence processes
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory standards
- Contribute to global initiatives and cross-functional projects
Requirements - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in institutional sales or client servicing within asset management
- Strong understanding of China's offshore investment landscape
- Fluent in English and native-level Mandarin (spoken and written)
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel as required
