We are seeking a talented Data Centre Engineer (Decommissioning) for one of the largest global investment banks.
What you'll need to do
- Oversee the receipt, breakdown, and inventory logging of decommissioned data centre assets for disposal or reuse.
- Validate records to ensure compliance with decommissioning and receiving standards.
- Separate and log persistent storage components into the inventory system.
- Ensure adherence to asset inventory standards and manage turnover to secure storage.
- Collaborate with teams to identify asset management risks and support audits and investigations.
What you'll require to succeed
- 3+ years of experience in Data Centre Operation
- Experienced in managing IT Inventory Systems and IT Assets
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across IT and business teams.
- Fluency in ENGLISH with excellent communication skills
- ITIL or PMP certification is a plus.
