Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain system infrastructure to support enterprise database environments.
Supervise and manage all aspects of system and database administration.
Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization of database systems.
Design and optimize SQL queries; troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
Plan and operate multiple enterprise-level database servers.
Assist in database implementation, backup and restore procedures, data migration, and replication activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a DBA or in a similar role.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database platforms such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
Familiarity with cloud-based databases ( e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL ).
Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery procedures.
Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
