- A Chinese Bank is looking for a Business Performance Management Manager to join their Private Banking Business
Your new role
Business Planning & Monitoring - Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans for the Private Banking division.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation processes.
Financial Analysis: - Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate business performance and profitability.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports for senior management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
Market & Competitor Intelligence: - Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.
- Conduct benchmarking studies and provide insights on market positioning.
- Explore new market segments and business development opportunities.
Data Management & Reporting: - Collect, clean, and analyse internal and external data relevant to private banking.
- Translate complex data into clear, concise reports and presentations.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders in both Chinese and English.
Stakeholder Engagement: - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Strategy, and Risk.
- Act as a key liaison between the Head of Private Banking and other departments.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in private banking, financial analysis, or strategic planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data visualisation and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills in both Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English.
