Job Responsibilities
1.Business Development:
- Identify margin financing business opportunities by conducting Know-Your-Client (KYC) assessments and engaging in discussions with Relationship Managers (RMs) and clients.
- Analyze client needs to structure tailored margin financing solutions.
2.Credit Proposal & Approval Process:
- Draft comprehensive credit proposals to support margin financing applications.
- Lead the internal credit approval process, coordinating closely with Relationship Managers, Risk, and Legal & Compliance (LCD) departments to ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
3.Loan Execution:
- Manage the end-to-end execution of margin loans, including documentation, conditions-precedent, and operational processes.
- Ensure adherence to terms and conditions during loan disbursement.
4.Post-Loan Management:
- Monitor loan conditions, including collateral value, margin levels, and compliance with loan terms.
- Conduct periodic reviews of loan limits and coordinate necessary adjustments.
- Proactively manage potential risks and resolve loan-related issues in collaboration with internal teams.
Job Requirements:
1.Education:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
2.Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in margin financing, private banking, or credit-related roles.
- Strong knowledge of margin financing products and regulatory requirements.
3.Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, Relationship Managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to structure financing solutions and assess credit risks.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to monitoring and managing loan conditions.
4.Language:
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred.
