Your new role - Conduct thorough credit analysis of new and existing clients, including financial statement analysis, credit history evaluation, and risk assessment.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Monitor and review credit limits and exposure for existing clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and risk appetite.
- Assist in the development and implementation of credit risk models and scoring systems.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to gather necessary information and provide recommendations on credit terms and conditions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact credit risk.
- Support the preparation of periodic credit risk reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in credit committee meetings and contribute to the decision-making process.
What you'll need to succeed - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Approximately 3 years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, credit risk assessment, and credit scoring models.
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
