Head of Credit Collections to lead its collections function across the APAC region. Based in Hong Kong, this role will oversee regional operations, drive performance, and ensure compliance with diverse regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the APAC credit collections team from the Hong Kong headquarters.
- Design and execute regional collections strategies to optimize recovery and minimize delinquency.
- Collaborate with country teams and risk management to align policies with local regulations and business objectives.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and implement proactive risk mitigation measures.
- Champion digital transformation and automation within the collections function.
- Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory standards across APAC jurisdictions.
- Provide strategic insights and reporting to senior leadership and global stakeholders.
Requirements: - Minimum 10 years of experience in credit collections, with at least 5 years in a regional leadership role.
- Strong track record in managing collections across multiple APAC markets.
- Deep understanding of regional regulatory environments and cultural nuances.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Experience in banking or financial services is essential.
- Fluency in English; additional Asian languages are advantageous.
