A leading international bank is seeking a driven and client-focused Vice President, Sales to lead business development in Custodian and Securities Services. This role is also open to experienced professionals from RMs who are serving non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), including asset managers, fund administrators, insurance firms, and securities firms, who have strong networks and a deep understanding of post-trade services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and revenue growth for custodian services, fund services, securities lending, and related post-trade services.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the client base across institutional clients & sovereign funds, including NBFIs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in asset management firms, insurance companies, pension funds, and securities firms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions and ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the bank at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in custodian services, securities services, or institutional sales
- Proven track record in sales and relationship management within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of custody operations, fund services, securities lending, and regulatory frameworks will be advantageous
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is preferred.
