Our client are seeking a proactive and experienced Legal Counsel to join their growing in-house legal team. This role is best suited for someone with a solid background in commercial contracts, corporate litigation, and civil law.

Youll be responsible for advising on day-to-day legal issues, supporting dispute resolution, managing legal risks, and partnering with external counsel as needed. Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on a range of commercial, civil, and operational matters, balancing risk and business objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate litigation, dispute resolution, and legal correspondence (e.g. demand letters, settlements, pre-action strategies).
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, and partnership documents.
  • Support regulatory and compliance matters in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Liaise with external counsel to ensure efficient handling of legal matters, litigation cases, and documentation.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the companys business across various jurisdictions.
  • Assist with internal governance, record-keeping, and contract management processes.
  • Provide general legal support to business teams on strategic initiatives, operational risks, and legal documentation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Law and qualified to practice in a common law jurisdiction.
  • 5–10 years PQE, with strong grounding in civil and commercial law, and hands-on experience in corporate litigation or dispute resolution.
  • Experience in both law firm and in-house environments preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently on a broad range of legal issues and manage external counsel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Crypto experience
  • Strong sense of accountability, professionalism, and commercial judgment.
