A global tier-one investment bank is hiring aSenior Director (ED-level) Software Engineering Leadto take ownership of strategic initiatives across theirEquity Order Management Systems (OMS) platform. This is a core technology stack supporting front-to-back workflows across theirglobal sales and trading business.
The Opportunity
This is a key regional role reporting into the Global Head of Sales, Trading, and Client Connectivity Technology. You will lead a regional engineering team, drive technical strategy and delivery across multiple systems, and act as a senior interface to trading, product, and global tech stakeholders.
What Theyre Looking For
- Proven leadership of engineering teams (6–10+ people), ideally in front-office trading technology
- Strong hands-on foundation in Java, with ability to contribute to architecture, code reviews, and technical direction
- Experience overseeing multiple interlinked systems with a view on performance, scalability, and integration
- Background in equities trading or real-time front-office environments
- Confident communicator and stakeholder manager with the maturity to operate regionally and interface globally
- Open to talent from banks, buy-side firms, or crypto-native trading environments
