Your new company An insurer is looking for a compliance reporting professional with exposure to outsourcing and FATCA/ CRS.
Your new role
Implement and manage compliance frameworks, monitor regulatory developments, and ensure adherence to policies including FATCA and CRS.
Drive effective implementation of compliance policies and procedures to mitigate key risks and ensure alignment with changing regulations.
Investigate compliance incidents, report material matters, and oversee remedial actions and risk assessments.
Provide compliance advisory to business units, assess risks in business initiatives, and promote awareness of the three-line-of-defense model.
Support cross-functional initiatives, deliver compliance training, and manage multiple projects aligned with business objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or Business; professional qualifications in insurance, compliance, or audit preferred.
Minimum 10 years of solid experience in financial services, with a focus on compliance, risk management, legal, or internal controls.
An in-depth understanding of the insurance business, particularly within the Hong Kong market, is highly preferred.
Proficiency in data mining and analysis tools is an advantage; strong problem-solving and organizational skills are required.
Excellent interpersonal and bilingual communication skills (English and Chinese);
