- A reputable bank in Hong Kong is seeking a highly strategic and detail-oriented individual to join the CEO Office as a Vice President - Corporate Planning & Strategy. This is an individual contributor role that plays a pivotal part in shaping the bank's strategic direction through high-impact reporting, executive support, and insight-driven planning. The role offers unparalleled exposure to senior leadership and an opportunity to directly influence enterprise-wide initiatives.
Your new role
- Drive strategic planning cycles, including annual plans, mid-term strategy refreshes, and scenario analyses.
- Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for the CEO and Senior Management, supporting decision-making at the highest levels.
- Analyze financial and operational data to extract insights and recommend actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across business units to align strategic priorities.
- Support the CEO Office with ad hoc analyses, board materials, investor presentations, and strategic updates.
- Monitor market trends, competitor developments, and regulatory changes to inform strategy.
What you'll need to succeed
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or strategic planning in financial services, preferably in Banking.
- Strong analytical acumen and familiarity with financial modelling and data visualisation tools.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage executive-level deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor degree in the relevant area of study.
- Proficient communication skills in Chinese Cantonese, Mandarin and in English.
