Overview
A well-capitalised and SFC-licensed fund management firm is seeking a highly driven and experiencedVice President / Associate Director, Fund Distributionto join its growing team inHong Kong. This is a strategic role focused on developing and expanding the firms relationships withintermediary sales channels, includingprivate banks,external asset managers,family offices, and other wealth platforms.
The firm offers a curated suite ofalternative investment solutions, including hedge funds, private credit, and private equity strategies, backed by significant internal capital and strategic partnerships with global managers.
This role presents a unique opportunity for a candidate with a strong intermediary network and a proven track record in capital raising or fund distribution sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a member of theFund Distribution and Investmentteam, responsible for business development and fundraising across intermediary channels, by engaging with private banks, IAMs/EAMs, family offices, and other wealth management platforms.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle independently — including early-stage prospecting, responding to RFI/RFPs, investor due diligence, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and strategic fund partners to promote a diverse range of investment strategies.
- Coordinate and support fundraising initiatives such as roadshows, investor briefings, and portfolio manager presentations etc.
- Contribute to marketing plans and brand-building efforts, in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Maintain accurate client data and pipeline reporting in CRM systems; provide regular updates to senior management.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of7 years experiencein a client-facing distribution or advisory role within fund management, private banking, or wealth management.
- Solid track records in coveringintermediary clients(e.g. private banks, EAMs, family offices).
- Deep understanding offinancial marketsandalternative investment products, including hedge funds and private credit.
- Strong communication and presentation skills inEnglish, Cantonese or Mandarin.
- SFC Type 1 and 4 licensesare highly preferred.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
