Job Summary: Associate - Data Business - Licensing
Licensing team of Data Business looks after all data clients' licensing matters and promotes the real-time data services and historical data products of HKEX securities and derivatives markets globally. The incumbent is to report to the team lead or senior member of Licensing team.
Job Duties: Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the relationship manager for existing and prospective licensees of HKEX real-time data services and historical data products.
- Serve as the point of contact for both external & internal inquiries regarding data product features, application procedures and licensing & fee schemes.
- Handle the licensing applications and administration of agreements for data clients.
- Work alongside with Global Client Development, Product Specialist and Client Services teams to timely and effectively on-boarding the new clients joining our markets by providing effective guidance and proper licensing solution for our real-time data services and historical data products.
- Conduct market research on latest industry trends to support business development.
- Proactively understand more on the latest customer needs and collect customer feedback in relation to HKEX data services and products.
- Assist in organizing client seminars and marketing events.
- Provide timely and dynamic support to the management on ad-hoc projects as well as cross-team initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- University degree, preferably in Finance/ Business/ Economics or related subjects.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in the financial industry.
- Strong understanding of financial industry and products as well as data business. Knowledge of exchanges' data business is a plus.
- Exposure to Market Data vendors is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, highly self-motivated, able to multi-tasks and work independently as well as in a team environment.
- High proficiency of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), strong demand in communication and presentation skills.
- Conversant with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
