Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a seasoned Network and Security Manager to fortify the infrastructure and safeguard the digital assets.
Role Overview As the Network and Security Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and resilient network systems to ensure our infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance, availability, and cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute network and security strategies aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection
- Oversee network architecture, including LAN/WAN, cloud connectivity, and data centre operations
- Lead incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches or anomalies
- Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to ensure adherence to FS-specific regulations
- Monitor and report on network performance, uptime, and security metrics
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies for continuous improvement
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of network and security professionals
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in network security roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity
- Strong knowledge of FS regulatory frameworks and cybersecurity standards
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or equivalent
- Proven experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure), SIEM tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
