Our client is a reputable corporate and investment bank who is looking to hire a Project Manager within their Asia Projects team under COO. Candidates with good knowledges in investment operations including reconciliations processes are highly welcomed.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate actions between Operations teams in Asia and all stakeholders (IT, Compliance, Legal, Front-Office).
- Be in charge of PMO activities (planning, governance, reporting, dashboard and progress reports, etc.).
- Collect and formalize user business requirements, prepare test cases for the operational teams and coordinate as well as act as a liaison between users and IT teams during the projects.
- Maintains an up to date RAID log and provides up to date project status reports to various forums in both written and verbal form
- Carry out studies on existing set-up in order to find areas for improvement.
- Prepare and implement Change Management plans for Operations teams.
- Participate to transversal projects.
Requirements:
- Degree/Master degree holders, with strong academic background in Financial Engineering, Finance, Economics or Engineering
- Over 7 years work experience in Investment Banks
- Good knowledge of the Operations department in an Investment Bank including reconciliations processes
- PM experience on transformation projects required
- 3 to 5 years work experience as a Project Manager
- Experience in Program Management nice to have
- Excellent Project Management skills and stakeholders management
- Strong communication and problem solving skills with ability to provide solutions
- Self-motivated and hardworking with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility
