Our client is a global private bank looking for an experienced Funds Specialist to join a well-established investment team. This individual will play a key role in driving fund distribution and strengthening the banks in-house fund offerings. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fund landscape and proven experience engaging with private bankers. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive fund sales by promoting in-house and public market funds to private bankers.
- Focus on distributing in-house funds while maintaining a solid understanding of the broader fund universe across asset classes.
- Act as a key point of contact for product promotion, fund selection, and portfolio positioning discussions.
- Provide comprehensive support to relationship managers and investment consultants through product training, market updates, and client presentations.
- Handle fund-related administration and ensure smooth coordination with operations, compliance, and legal teams.
- Monitor market trends and competitor products to provide feedback for product enhancement or new launches.
- Prepare and deliver marketing materials, pitchbooks, and factsheets in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in fund sales, fund distribution, or investment products preferably within private banking platforms.
- Strong knowledge of public market fund
- Experience selling funds to private banks, EAMs, and family offices.
- Familiarity with fund operations, documentation, and internal approval processes.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and achieving sales targets.
- Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English and fluency in Cantonese is required as the role requires to communicate in this language.
