Overview As a Paralegal / Legal Executive reporting directly to the Deputy Head of Legal, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the legal function across a diverse range of areas-from corporate governance and regulatory expansion to legal operations and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities - Contract Review & Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements to support business operations. Enhance contract lifecycle processes and maintain accurate repository systems.
- Corporate Compliance & Governance: Maintain corporate records and ensure entity compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including APAC and LATAM.
- Licencing & Regulatory Support: Assist with licence applications, renewals, and ongoing regulatory obligations. Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to prepare responses to regulators.
- Legal Research & Regulatory Mapping: Conduct legal research and analyse regulatory frameworks to support product launches and market entry strategies.
- Legal Operations & Process Optimisation: Develop and manage templates, trackers, and knowledge bases. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement legal tech solutions.
- Intellectual Property & Trademark Management: Oversee the group's global IP portfolio, support trademark filings, and maintain prosecution records.
Requirements - LLB or equivalent legal qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Executive
- Prior in-house experience in a startup, fintech, or web3 environment is a plus
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with sharp attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and follow through on complex projects
- Proactive mindset with a passion for improving systems and adding value
- Interest in payments, financial products, or virtual asset regulations is a bonus
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
