Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of talented individuals to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality results
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable plans
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
- Manage vendor relationships effectively to ensure the timely delivery of products and services
- Collect user requirements effectively and perform in-depth analysis to drive project success
- Identify root causes of issues and drive effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Develop, coach and mobilize the team to achieve specific software development goals. Take part in the actual development work when necessary
- Maintaining production system stability to ensure uninterrupted operations and high performance
- Evaluate, identify potential challenges and develop contingency plan to minimize business risks
- Ensure effective communication in place between users and IT team members within project and also cross projects
- Maintain up-to-date project file and ensure the design work are well documented
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Information Technology.
- Certified PMP is preferable
- At least 15 years' experience in application software development with at least 5 years solid experience on supporting trade finance / custodian business.
- At least 7 years in project management and people management.
- At least 5 years experience to manage vendor in project delivery and package maintenance and support.
- Preferable with experience to manage multiple sub-teams serving different business domain area.
- Solid experience and knowledge on various banking applications and technologies
- Familiar with SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Knowledge in trade finance / custodian business and products is preferred
- Solid regulatory and compliance experience combined with project management capabilities
- Proven ability to manage multi-tasks and multiple projects simultaneously
